Matthew Layton presents Studio 1 - Vision Australia Radio’s weekly look at life from a low vision and blind point of view.
On this week’s show…
Thursday 15th October is International White Cane Day, and Vision Australia are holding a virtual concert to celebrate the occasion and raise awareness of what a white stick actually does and the challenges that vision impaired people face every day - particularly in a COVID-affected world, where people don’t want to touch each other any more.
Matthew is joined by festival headliner, American singer-songwriter and paragon of positivity Scott MacIntyre.
Scott looks forward to headlining the festival, explains how he uses the platform music has given him for good and tells us how excited he is about sharing a virtual stage with The Wiggles.
