This episode is a sermon I preached at African Christian College on Mark 1:1-8. This sermon explores the importance of expectations, Jewish Messianic expectations at the time of Jesus, and how God fulfilled his promises to Israel, albeit in unexpected ways. As followers of Jesus, we can expect God to act, but on his terms and his ways.
