Dr. Darcie Little Badger is an author and an Earth scientist.As an author, she specializes in speculative fiction, especially horror, science fiction and fantasy with Apache characters and themes. She is part of the Indigenous Futurism movement to write science fiction from Native historical and cultural perspectives.Little Badger's first book, "Elatsoe," was published in 2020.Little Badger received her B.A. in Geosciences from Princeton University and her Ph.D. in Oceanography from Texas A&M University.
