It's a history podcasts about a very specific topic; the development and first (and fortunately only!) use of it in WW2. It's told from the perspective of the man who first conceived of the idea of nuclear fission, saw the potential use of that in a weapon, then changed his mind about the use and how it would change the future. It's a compelling narrative arc, the podcasts narrator's own background plays into this, and, well, we all know where we are now. It all adds up to a podcast that's interesting, and worthwhile to listen. Episodes are fairly short (30 minute max).
