The theme to start this show is both creepy and intense - I really enjoy the way that sets against the show itself (the seriousness when the show is bonkers tickles me). The show has a little segment explaining how the show works at the start which is a nice touch - this show is well thought out which you may not expect considering the premise. The show is basically the host coming up with a bonkers scenario such as a demon hamster gradually increasing their torment. The co-host, completely unprepared, comes up with a plan to deal with the situation. Then the host introduces the next step of the scenario... It’s such a bonkers concept yet there is complete dead pan delivery - it’s really enjoyable. There is plenty of backing music too which again gives a professional feel. The odd sound effect sneaks in too. Great work hosts! The hosts are clearly close friends and take a sadistic enjoyment in tormenting each other with their scenarios. I. Love. That. Oh by the way, slightly biased but I also really love the podcast logo. Overall, it’s a really enjoyable show and a break from the norm. Highly recommended for something different.
