Nauroze Anees is in the heart of the beast that is the Australia Immigration Detention Network.

Earlier this year he made a claim that he had been told by a fellow detainee $80 000 cash could 'buy' a visa. The detainee who is alleged to have said this is a convicted drug trafficker from New Zealand now living on the Gold Coast.Under legislation introduced by the current Liberal/National government a person can be refused a visa if they fail a character test which revolved around criminal activity.
