Today, we are joined by Lynette “Benny” Ramsey, a mother who lost her son to the Coxsackie B2 Virus two years ago. Benny recounts with us the last few hours with Juany, the frustration with the communication from hospital staff during Juany’s demise, and what she is doing to raise awareness about the Coxsackie B2 virus.

Benny is a testiment to her faith, and her resolve to do all that she can so that other parents will not lose a child to Coxsackie B2. The Center for Disease Control reported that during the years 1983 – 2005, 3.8% of Coxsackie B2 Virus infections were fatal. The CDC also reports that outbreaks can occur in settings such as football games and summer camps. Benny shares with us what parents can do to prevent the spreading of, and infection with Coxsackie B2 on the show.
