Not for the faint of stomach. At all. Who knows what bizarre, old-timey medicine you might get!!!! But if you've got the nerve for it, this is a super enjoyable podcast. Great banter. And Dr. Sydnee is a great presenter.

One of the first few podcasts I ever listened to which sucked me in to the world of podcasts. Sydnee & Justin always pick interesting topics and they're informative and funny. If you like Sawbones, make sure you check out other McElroy shows!

As a scientist and someone who loves comedy, if you're not listening to each new episode; then you're missing out. Dr. Sydnee and Justin are a comedy duo powerhouse and make medical learning fun, even if you're not a nerd like me.

One of my favorite podcasts! Sydnee and Justin work very well together to make me laugh, learn something, and also become slightly nauseous. But it's cool! I'll just grab me some leeches, that'll fix it right?

Super interesting podcast like you won't BELIEVE all the things people have done as medicine over time and the reasoning behind things. it's wild. I especially like the episodes that focus on a specific historical figure and follow them around.

This is the podcast I can recommend to everyone without any warnings! The history of medicine is hilarious and bizarre - and the combination of a medical professional and a comedian makes this accessible, funny, and informative. I cannot recommend this (or their book) more highly!

Political opinions keep creeping in to this otherwise fine medical history show. The anti capitalist remarks from two people who run commercials on their show just wore me out after a few years.

My fiance and I are both soon-to-be physicians and we listen to this podcast together regularly. Justin is hilarious and brings so much fun to the podcast while Dr. McElroy does a great job telling the best historical medical stories.

Never not entertaining. Always interesting. I came for Justin and stayed for Sydnee, and they make an incredible podcasting pair. I have loved every episode I've listened to.

Great blend of info and humor on all sorts of medical subjects. Justin plays a great "clueless guy" to Sydnee, who is generally pretty knowledgeable about the stuff they are discussing.

So interesting and funny

I've been a long-time Sawboner. It was my top listened to podcast last year (an obscene about of hours) and I even got my organic chemistry teacher to listen (to the episode about Thalidomide). Funny enough, I'm not usually super into the holiday episodes they do, but this year's 12 Days of Christmas episode had me rolling. I laughed so hard I cried. Thanks to the both of you for putting out such amazing content. Love the work you do!
