A deep-dive into the TV archives - Geeky, intelligent discussions of various forgotten, lesser and well-known shows alike.Lisa, Andrew and a variety of guests offer great insight into the shows that now reside in TV heaven. At first, I was a little wary about the length of the podcast. I'm a stickler for trying to encourage traditional format lengths in the world of podcasting, and so the 2+ hour runtime was a little daunting. However - Lisa, Andrew + Guests do a great job of splitting the discussions into clear and defined segments. Giving the podcast a pick-up at your convenience feel.Round the Archives is an audio museum for the landscape of television, the passion and knowledge displayed by each of the hosts is inspiring, and this young(ish) listener learned an awful lot from just one episode. It was also great to hear people talk about the late Terry Jones in the episode I listened to, very comforting.Whether you're here for the blast of nostalgia to the brain, or to learn some history of broadcast media - Round the Archives is an excellent podcast for you!
