StanSmith collects vinyl discs since 1984 so it was clear for him that deejaying will be a large part of his life.In the early 90’s, he started his career by working in college and private parties. At the same time, he created with friends a music magazine named ‘Da Funky Kam’ which allows him to meet a lot of artists as Jay-Z, Nas, The Fugees, Bob Sinclar, Antoine Clamaran, Armand van Helden and more.But it’s in 1999 that StanSmith decided to do more for his DJ career. He did the warm up of a lot of artists as Dilated People, Arsenik, Busta Flex, Raggasonic, Lord Kossity, DJ Cut Killer, DJ Abdel, DJ Mouss and more. He also mixed in events like the Film Festival in Cannes, the Red Bull Thre3Style, Technoparade. He worked on remixes of 113, Magic System, Beyoncé, Sean Paul which were played on FG Radio, Fun Radio and NRJ (resident mastermix 2004).StanSmith played set in clubs as Mama Shelter (Paris & Lyon), Motown Bar, Rafiot, Living Room, Teatro. He is the resident DJ of the Jimmy’s Bar and has punctual residence at the Sofitel Strasbourg.
