On September 1st 2018, Charisse Stinson reported her 2-year-old son, Jordan Belliveau, missing, claiming that a stranger had abducted him. 

Stinson claimed that night she was walking with Jordan in Largo, Florida, when a man named "Antwan" offered them a ride.

She described "Antwan" as a black man with gold teeth and dreadlocks

Stinson alleged that after accepting the ride, "Antwan" attacked her, hitting her in the face and rendering her unconscious. When she woke up, she found herself alone in a wooded area, and Jordan was missing​

The detailed description and the severity of the abduction claim led to an Amber Alert being issued for Jordan.

A massive search operation was launched, involving local law enforcement and the community, spanning 60 hours.

As investigators delved deeper, they found inconsistencies in Stinson's story. They noted that her injuries did not align with her account of being attacked and left unconscious.

Under further scrutiny, Stinson eventually admitted to fabricating the story. She confessed that she had struck Jordan in a moment of frustration, causing him to hit his head against a wall, which led to his death from blunt force trauma. Instead of seeking help, she panicked and hid his body in a wooded area.
