Small and big advice to survive zombie attacks. The broadcast try to be optimistic, but it's hard in a world where everybody struggles. It's funny, scary, emotional - and it's my daily dose of hope.
Hey, folks, Mercury creator ARTC here with a bit of an explanation. Mercury: A Broadcast of Hope is exploring a very different kind of audio drama experience by attempting to talk directly to the listener and make them as much a part of the world the characters are living in as possible. In order to do that within the confines of podcasting, we have the following system set up.Ep001-009 - Free forever. This follows the usual podcasting model of keeping back episodes available for future listeners and serves as an introduction to the series and the initial characters.Beginning with Ep010 and continuing for the foreseeable future, episodes will be available for 24 hours and then will expire. This helps preserve the illusion that the characters really are broadcasting from a terrestrial radio station. Unfortunately, since Podchaser is listing individual episodes, those past episodes show up in our list but will not play because the media has been set to expire. The good news is that the episodes are short and if you miss a day you should be able to get caught back up quickly. The other good news is that if you like what you're hearing and want to get all the back episodes you can support us on Patreon (patreon.com/mercuryradio) and get them all for as little as $1/month.Be sure to rate and review us here and on Apple Podcasts and Stitcher! Thanks for listening and...take care of each other.
Really enjoyed it so far. Clever idea. Real clever idea for a podcaster as listeners basically need to become a Patreon to keep up. But, that also puts pressure on the podcast to produce quality shows.
A different take on the zombie apocalypse, where the emphasis is on taking care of each other. I love how this show is released every day, we get to follow developments in the characters' lives as they unfold.
