I feel as though maybe I left a few things on the table in the last episode, so here we are!

This episode discusses five more valuable reminders for fishing the fall stillwater fly fishing. The tips are as follows:

  • Be diligent in getting your fly close to bottom when the situation calls for it
  • Water temp dipping below 50 is a beautiful thing in the fall months
  • Move OFTEN, even if you only see one or two fish rolling around
  • Don't overlook the skinny water, 5 to 10 feet in depth, as fish love to cruise it during the late season
  • Don't be afraid to feed them a large meal. Fish will often pounce on a large leech imitation when hatches are sparse and they are patrolling the shallows.
