RATING
This is easily one of the best pods on the planet and one of my top 5 GOATIn about 10 minutes, Gary delivers all you need to know on the most incredibly peripatetic topics. Here's a fact: Even the topics you look at in your pod app and think "Ahhh ... this one might not be for me ...." Bzzzzzzzz. Wrong. When you listen, you love it. I listen to a LOT of pods, and there are only a few that when I see their icon in my updated feed list, it gives me a little jolt of excitement. This is definitely one of those. Plus you get to sound really smart at cocktail parties and BBQs ... "Oh The Halifax Explosion of 1917? Did you know that ....."
I love this podcast! It's has interesting and informative topics. I love learning something new each day! Keep up the good work Gary!
Everything Everywhere DailyThank you! I'll be reading it on the April 23 episode.
Great podcast! Gary always makes the topics interesting and the show has become my go-to every morning while eating breakfast. Such a fantastic way to start the day!
Everything Everywhere DailyThanks! I'll be reading it on the April 26th show.
Amazing show. Gary is a font of history, trivia, and things you didn't know you didn't know. Engaging and education, and above all entertaining. FIVE STARS!
Gary has travelled the world and shares all the neat things he's learned in short episodes that just fill your head with interesting facts and tidbits. It's not a travel podcast (he's a world renown travel blogger) but a history and knowledge podcast. I love it. Helps me polish my trivia knowledge.
If you have a hunger for knowledge this podcast is the perfect international buffet. A little bit of flavor from everywhere. Just like a buffet you may tend to binge but you won't have the regret afterwards. Keep up the good work!
Everything Everywhere DailyThank you. It will be on the April 24th Episode

Everything Everywhere DailyThank you! Nice hash :)
Gary answers those questions you didn’t know you needed answered when it comes to history. Easy listening, great info!
Everything Everywhere DailyThank you. I'll be reading this on the May 2 episode.
At first I thought this was a nice, occasional break from daily news noise, then I realized this is far beyond novelty entertainment and is a rich variety of mentally nourishing, factual content that also integrates explaining things connected to current events as much as it delves into all ages past. I've become addicted to this and find I'm reaching for this in the morning to find out what's in the surprise box today, before any other podcast, or diving into old episodes when I need to hear a sane and reliably factual and objective voice. And he has a pleasant voice, so ... Bonus.
I have rated 5 stars for Everything Everywhere on Podcast Addict. I am happy to do it again here on podchaser for such a noble cause. There is so much that I have learned from Gary. Either on things that I knew about, like the Holodomor, but was glad to have learned more. And, on things that I had no idea about. Like Ignaz Semmelweis. That episode was fascinating. Especially since my best friend has a degree in biology and immunology and I had the opportunity to ask him about something that he wouldn't have thought that I learned about.I wonder if Gary takes requests. There are many wonderful things for people to learn about my home state of New Mexico. From White Sands, Carlsbad Caverns, and Chaco Canyon. To Billy the Kid, Coronado, and Kit Carson. It would be wonderful if Gary would be willing to pick a topic about New Mexico to expound upon.I can't say enough how much I love this podcast and the work that Gary puts into it. I have binged all 663 episodes since I started listening just a little over 5 months ago. Even the encores. Keep up the great work, Gary!Ian Jurgens,Rio Rancho, NM
Everything Everywhere DailyThanks so much! This will be on the Saturday, April 16 episode.
Learn about topics you never knew were so interesting in a easy to digest format.
Hi Gary,Ga’i agor cangen gyntaf Gymraeg o’r glwb gyflawni? Can I open the first Welsh branch of the completionist club?I thought you might like the alliteration in the Welsh sentence, and we will require the team rugby shirt to display in the clubhouse please, as is Welsh rugby club tradition, more on that in a bit.I tend to save up a few episodes to listen all at once, so I have technically joined the completionist club several times, although the dog ate my 1812 overture homework. If anyone is trying to join the completionist club, can I recommend moving into a new house and spending several weekends on the repairs and decorating while listening to everything everywhere daily. Hearing episodes on Hagia Sophia, Roman concrete and the Great Wall, while struggling to put up some shelves, can be either inspiring or frustrating, but always informative and enjoyable.I’ve tried several fact based podcasts, and sometimes find they offer little more than a general knowledge standard of information. Everything Everywhere daily always offers well researched information, even when it is a topic you are familiar with; even if the topic of the day is familiar then it is delivered in an enjoyable style that is considered and relatable, with just a hint of kayfabe regarding the great lakes football rivalries. For anyone considering Everything Everywhere daily, I’ll compare it to some others I enjoy. It is as full of facts as ‘Your Brain on Facts’, as worthwhile as ‘Futility Closet’, as useful as ‘Useless Information’ and as curious as ‘Cabinet of Curiosities’, it is bursting with great information and perfectly cromulent Easter eggs.As the USA aren’t competing in the Rugby World Cup 2023, I wonder if you’ve chosen another team to support?I was going to recommend Wales, but by the time I’ve finished writing this review Wales have been eliminated along with most teams, leaving me with a fresh appreciation for Gary finishing and releasing a new show every day.I’ve noticed there haven’t been many references to Wales so far in the episodes, and I suppose you are saving these up for landmark or special extended episodes, or possibly some kind of spin off series; I look forward to hearing these when they come out.Diolch yn Fawr,Matt
The world is busy developing Artificial Intelligence and Gary is busy curing Natural Stupidity. That makes me feel better about the state of affairs in the world. I love your podcast. I'm on my third round and I'm wondering if I can open a clubhouse in Kumasi, Ghana, afterwards even though I live in the US? America has enough members, they don't need me, but a clubhouse in Ghana. Now that would be great! We can serve fufu with groundnut soup and wash it all down with a cold refreshing palm wine daily. You do a good job, thank you. I hope someday I can do something like this with focus on everything everywhere in Africa. Wooo Gary, there might be a franchise idea here lol. Last thing. I know you don't do current events, but would you consider doing a week where you focus on the history of how some of these current events we're seeing came about to educate others? One in particular is the Palestinian-Israeli conflict? I figured if anyone could do an objective and factual based history to educate others on how we got to this point without taking sides, it would be you Gary. I would sponsor it, but no pressure. Have a blessed day. Kofi. P.s I'm sure you know what day I was born from my name. If not I think naming in different cultures will be an excellent to podcast topic in the future wink wink.
I like the topics but the downside is Gary's voice - it goes screechy on some words and it's so damn irritating.
Great podcast. Always interesting. Creative. Covers a topic in 5 to 10 minutes that I would not have known about.
Everything Everywhere DailyThank you very much!
This is a fantastic podcast. Gary has the uncanny ability to distill any topic into a concise, informative, and easy-to-follow 9-10 minutes podcast. And when I say any topic, I do mean any topic. As of today, Gary has done over 600 episodes. From the history of BBQ to the Apollo Space program, from the Istanbul Canal to the Survivorship Bias, one never knows what will be next. As a proud member of “I have listened to every episode club’, I am honoured to rate this podcast the highest rating on any scale.
This podcast sums it up nicely. What does it sum up... everything everywhere. It's not just a clever name. Love it!
Everything Everywhere DailyThank you very much!
I love this podcast! I learn something new everyday.
Everything Everywhere DailyThank you Nikki!
The best thing to come out of COVID. Gary started this podcast because he couldn't travel and put his curious mind to work on this daily pod that is entertaining, fascinating and bite-sized. It really does span everything, and each subject he manages to make interesting because each is interesting to him. I'm more of a science and history nerd, and this pod definitely appeals to that, but even the sports subjects I find entertaining. And he has a great speaking voice! As long as he can make more episodes, I'll be listening. Thanks Gary!
Everything Everywhere DailyThanks! I'll be reading this on the May 1 episode.
We’re a military family who homeschools our son, Sean, and we listen to Everything Everywhere Daily every night before bed. Sean is going into 6th grade but because homeschooling allows us so much flexibility, we let his curiosity guide much of his learning. There are more than many times during which Sean has asked to see pictures of and/or dive even deeper into a subject that you have covered. Whether you know It or not, you’re Sean’s favorite teacher. His other teacher is learning new things alongside of him and she’s not quite as friendly as you are. Thanks for helping a homeschool Mom and kiddo out!
Everything Everywhere DailyWould you mind sending me an email? I have questions about how I can better help and reach homeschooling families. gary@everything-everywhere.com
