My podcasting roots are steeped in sci-fi, though I don’t listen to many short stories. Shows like Dust are helping me fix that. Not only are the stories excellent and the narrators/voice actors top-notch, but the scoring is fantastic. Far too many audiobook-adjacent podcasts are stuck with the old attitudes about adding sounds (and I agree it can be easily overdone). But the deft touch the creators of Dust use to enhance the story with sounds is shows podcasters shouldn’t be stuck with the way things were. I binged all of this season in one setting this morning. One of the perks of waking at 4:30a on a Saturday, I suppose. Enjoy!

Great and very entertaining short stories, not like any other I've ever heard. Funny, weird and exciting, the show features really imaginative takes on the future. Well worth a listen!

Some of the stories are really cool and make you think, while others are just short dramas that take place in the future. Either way, cool to listen to sci-fi stories.

Indeed more sci-fi all the time! This is a great place to find awesome stories told with great soundscapes and excellent voice acting.

I have only listened to Chrysalis season so far but I can already tell that the voice acting is amazing and the story, well that was really intriguing.

Amazing Sci-Fi single stories. Sound design and the readers are all very good. Constantly feel transported into the world of the reader.

I am a Sci-Fi fanatic. There are so many podcasts that they are sci-fi, and they have been a letdown. This is so immersive, original and thought provoking. I love the short stories and the full seasons. So excited for more.
