These past 10 weeks in a class with Professor Vilna Bashi Treitler we have discussed the origin of race, ethnicity and immigration and have made this podcast to share this information with you. In this episode we will answer the following questions. How did Johann Blumenbach create the racial classifications we still associate with today? How did race play a role in the treatment and acceptance of Irish, Italian, Chinese and Japanese immigrants?
