This podcast had its moments, but wasn't an overall success. It could have used a stronger narrative structure, and I got a little lost in the details from time to time. If there wasn't enough material to fill out six episodes, they could have made five or four.I would have liked even more insight into Vice Magazine's douchebag culture, especially as it led to the Proud Boys, and maybe how people view that history now. Doesn't anyone think it is...kind of terrible? Shouldn't there be consequences, or is everyone really just okay with the "we're not like that anymore" corporate narrative?I thought the scope of the series was too narrowly focused on the one guy. But in the end, I still think it was worthwhile, and I would recommend it.
