Born and raised in Montreal, Quebec, Steve Bisson moved to Massachusetts in 1999 to pursue his dream of working in the mental health field. He has been a therapist for 18 years, has owned his private practice, Straight To The Point Therapy since 2011, and has practiced telehealth therapy since 2015. Trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Steve has worked in diverse fields, including community outpatient services, the criminal justice field, as a member of a mental health crisis team, as well as a trainer for first responders and correctional staff on mental health and substance abuse. EMDR trained, he has processed trauma and bereavement issues throughout his career. When not working, Steve enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his two daughters and two cats.
