First, Nerve.com, in 1997, an early youth culture website, acquired by IAC; second Spring Street Networks, an online dating technology company acquired by Various, Inc.; and third Babble.com, a website for a new generation of parents, acquired by Disney in 2011. Babble evolved into a platform for female influencers, covering a wide range of women's lifestyle topics, distributed through social media.Rufus is currently running Heleo.com, a platform for one person media companies, backed by Comcast, Bertelsmann, Bloomberg, the New York Times, Greycroft, and INovia.Leader of The Next Big Idea Club, which is also a new podcast from Wondery, hosted by Rufus.
