Dr. Ruchi Gupta is a pediatrician and health researcher. She is known for her research in food allergy and asthma epidemiology, especially for her research on food allergies. Currently, she is Professor of Pediatrics and Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and a Clinical Attending at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. She is also the Director of the Science and Outcomes of Allergy & Asthma Research Program.Dr. Gupta has written and co-authored over 100 research papers, and her has been featured on television and in print media. Her first book, "Food Without Fear," was published in 2021.Gupta received her B.A. in Biology and her M.D. from the University of Louisville, and completed her medical residency at Children’s Hospital & Regional Medical Center at the University of Washington in Seattle. She completed her pediatric health services research fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School, and went on to receive her Master of Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health.
