Matt Hanson is an author, futurist and digital art expert. He has created seminal projects at the cutting edge of digital culture, including ITXO on cryptoart, onedotzero digital moving image, A Swarm of Angels remixable film community, and books such as The End of Celluloid.onedotzero, was an influential digital moving image/art festival in the 90s, named by The Guardian, "The most important festival of the early 21st century", and which toured globally.An award-winning filmmaker, he also produced multiple series of onedottv, the first digital art tv series on broadcast TV for UK Channel 4. Following this, and after launching onedotdvd, a dvd label, he wrote a series of books on cutting edge film and video, including The End of Celluloid, Motion Blur, Sci-Fi Moviescapes & Reinventing Music Video.A Swarm of Angels, created in 2006, was an innovative crowdsourced film studio, which presaged '1000 True Fans' and the decentralised creator economy coming to fruition in Web3.Matt evangelised these ideas in the early 2000s, with keynotes at influential events, festivals and museums around the world, with Screen International calling him an 'international film visionary'.
